Founding Fullstack Engineer

We are working with a well-funded, 7-person startup in SF that is building a new category of collaborative intelligence software. Backed by top-tier VCs, they are creating AI-enabled workflows designed to finally bridge the gap between Go-To-Market and Product/Engineering teams.They are bringing on a Founding Full Stack Engineer to fundamentally shape their long-term technical stack and data model. This isn't a maintenance role. You’ll be diving into the wild west of AI engineering, taking total ownership of 0-to-1 builds. Your day-to-day will span the entire stack from pushing the boundaries of their distributed AI backend to architecting the data model and shipping fluid, intuitive features in the UI.We’re looking for someone who has:2-5 years postgrad of professional full-stack experience, navigating both backend architecture and UI layers.The team heavily prefers Svelte and SvelteKit, so experience there is a massive plus but not needed.A proven track record of leading 0-to-1 projects. You should know what it takes to build a completely new product or feature from a blank slate.Previous founders are a plusExtreme curiosity and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.The Details:Location: Hybrid in San Francisco. The team thrives on collaboration and is in the office 3+ days a week, so local candidates who want an in-person culture are a must.Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 base.
