We offer a safe, clean, working environment with competitive pay rates and many benefits.PositionEngineering TechnicianDepartmentEngineeringJob DescriptionThe Engineering Technician is responsible for process improvements and the documentation of such processes in accordance with Core-Tech and customer specifications.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructionsRecord-keeping skillsAbility to use calipers and micrometersAbility to use customer-supplied gaugingWrite procedures and or work instructions for all aspects of the processMaintaining lot tractabilityTroubleshooting problems throughout the processSupport engineering in the testing of material and facilitating the outsourcing of such testingMinimum Job SpecificationsDemonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructionsDemonstrate the ability to use both liquid and dry measuring devices (i.e. scale and graduated cylinder)Record-keeping skillsAbility to use calipers and micrometersMaintaining traceabilityA positive attitudeGreat attendanceOrganization RelationshipsThe Engineering Technician reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and has a support responsibility to all functional managers.Job RequirementsThe Engineering Technician should have a technical degree or is working towards one, preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well-rounded background. Additional classwork in management-type courses and problem-solving techniques are preferred but not needed (i.e. Statistical Quality Control/Statistical Process Control).
