Account Executive

Overview We're looking for an Account Executive (AE) to join our sales team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in SaaS software sales. They will be responsible for closing sales and fostering client relationships, working alongside SDRs and the Head of Sales to transform leads into enduring partnerships and propel revenue growth. Remote : 100% remote, based in the United States (ideally in Eastern or Central time zone). Key Responsibilities Opener and closer of sales with sub-contractors and equipment owners in the heavy civil construction sector. Lead negotiations from initial contact to deal closure, in coordination with co-founders and project managers. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to project implementation. Be extremely organized and use our CRM tools to document all communications. Typically, once a quarter or so, attend trade shows and sales conferences in the US or Canada. Requirements At least 2 years of experience as AE with proven track records of exceeding sales quotas of qualified sales presentations. Experience selling SaaS products. AI-Native: Daily user of modern AI tools for real work. Uses AI to write, analyze, research, automate, and solve problems. Stays current with new tools and actively upgrades their workflow as better AI tools appear. Relentless passion to close deals and exceed quota. Experience with Hubspot, Zoominfo and other sales tools. Interest in a fully remote job and the self‑drive required to work effectively without being based in an office. Expectations First 30 Days: Gain in-depth knowledge of Clue's products and the market. Begin engaging in sales discussions and building client relationships. First 60 Days: Meet or exceed target number of sales closures and actively manage a full pipeline of qualified leads.
