In this role, you will take a leadership position in coordinating and producing high-quality, winning proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials in support of public and private sector environmental projects.You will work closely with technical staff, project managers, and firm leadership to develop compelling narratives that communicate our expertise across environmental assessment, remediation, water resources, and regulatory compliance disciplines.How We CollaborateThis role may offer a hybrid work setup, blending time in the office with remote work as business needs evolve. We enjoy coming together in person to collaborate, connect with teammates, and partner with clients, and may prioritize candidates who live within 50 miles of a Rincon office. Eligible office locations for this role include Carlsbad, Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Oakland, Palm Springs, Riverside, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. Please note: While this role's location is listed as a single location, we encourage you to apply if you reside in or near any of the CA locations listed above.What You’ll DoLead the full proposal lifecycle from RFP review through submission, including SOQs, RFPs, and shortlist presentationsDevelop and maintain proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and content librariesCoordinate with technical leads and PMs to gather, write, and edit project narratives, resumes, and experience profilesCraft persuasive executive summaries, cover letters, and win themes aligned to client prioritiesSupport go/no-go decisions and capture planning with business development teamsManage graphic production including layout, infographics, and figures using InDesign and Adobe CCMaintain CRM records, project data, and boilerplate content in Microsoft Dynamics Support interview preparation, leave-behind materials, and shortlist presentationsAssist with award nominations, conference collateral, and social media contentMentor junior marketing coordinators and support process improvementsWhat You’ll BringBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field5+ years of proposal/marketing experience in AEC or environmental consultingDemonstrated success managing multiple concurrent deadline-driven proposalsStrong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with technical contentProficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement processes (IDIQ, JOC, QBS)Experience with environmental, water, or civil infrastructure projects a plusInvesting in YouThe base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $100,000, plus a generous benefits program. Salary ranges are based on the market median of similar jobs, according to third-party salary benchmark surveys.
