Occupational Therapist Location: Mound City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,406 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, M-F; times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation Experience: 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy License: Occupational Therapy License Must-Have: - Long-term care or rehabilitation experience - Occupational Therapy license Description: Effectively screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or activities of daily living (ADL) physical functioning disorders. Develops appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients. Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and therapeutic exercises. Employs modalities and the use of supportive and assistive devices. Assesses patient progress and adjusts treatments accordingly in the clinical record. Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modifies services based on patient evaluations. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers. Effectively communicates with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Provides comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided in accordance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system. Maintains patient records according to company policy. Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided as per regulatory and clinical requirements. Participates in required meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings. Participates in facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences. Able to obtain necessary durable medical equipment or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Able to supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students. Adheres to professional practice standards and ethics during Occupational Therapy practice.
