Occupational Therapist Location: Mound City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,529 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Occupational Therapy Assistant Profession: Occupational Therapy Assistant Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year of OTA experience License: COTA license Description: Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist. Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including, but not limited to, ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Assesses patients' progress and communicates with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record. Reports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Provides consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to cognitive and/or physical disorders. Effectively communicates with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Provides input to supervisors for discharge summary of services provided. Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system. Maintains patient records according to company policy. Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements. Participates in required meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings. Engages in facility and company required training, in-services, and conferences. Works with supervising Occupational Therapist to obtain any necessary DME or supplies as required. Supervises and supports students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist. Adheres to practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Holds active State Licensure/Registration when applicable.
