Marketing - Program Management Senior Specialist

Join us at the Google Operations Center for the opportunity to help Google users tackle their problems and accomplish their goals, all while working in a dynamic and diverse environment.Program Management Senior Specialists are the glue that keeps all the elements of an email marketing campaign project together. They are well organized project managers, excellent communicators, proactive problem solvers and technical subject matter experts well versed in email marketing. They are the connective tissue between the business (product marketing managers), production project managers and development team. They ensure projects are well defined, and delivered on time and meet quality standards.Position Responsibilities:Partner with product marketing managers (PMMs) in campaign ideation and intake document formulationCollaborate with PMMs during campaign ideation stage, gather technical requirements, confirm feasibility of ideated campaign features, define potential execution timelineGuide the PMM through the Campaign Requirement Document creation, ensure the intake documents are completed and comprehensive for the production teamProject manage campaign development and deploymentKick off campaign production with offshore production team, provide guidance and answers to production team during the production process, manage production timelines Coordinate with Data Specialists to ensure that data requirements and inputs are feasible for HTML development and production processCommunicate production progress to PMM, facilitate approval of proofs and prototypes, ensure any changes are implemented after prototype and proof reviewFlag issues that arise during production process and proactively seek solutions Manage campaign deployment in Gamma, monitor campaign healthActively manage the Gamma campaign deployments, act as the campaign owner in Gamma (pause, activate, launch Gamma campaigns). GAMMA is Google's internal email marketing platform.Be the expert on Gamma campaigns under their managementMonitor campaign deployment health, through Gamma reporting tools and internal tools. Where applicable, delegate monitoring to Data specialist and email specialists function, however act as the accountable party for campaign health monitoring.Troubleshoot and solve escalationsWhen issues arise, on existing or newly deployed campaigns, proactively lead the resolution process, work closely with product marketing managers, production project managers, and the development team.After the fact, document the issue in the form of a blameless post mortem, ensure alignment across stakeholders and facilitate process adjustments mitigating repetition of the issue in the future across the team.
