Production OperatorLocation: Minneapolis, MN, USThe Production Operator will support manufacturing and distribution operations for class 2 and 3 medical device products. This position is responsible for manufacturing, assembling and packaging equipment to ensure the highest quality and in accordance with the standard operating procedures.Major Areas of Accountability:Perform process steps in the manufacturing area to include: molding, dipping, packaging, assemblyComplete work by following SOPs, detailed manufacturing procedures and per specification drawingsDocument/record work performed on work order documentation following Good Documentation PracticesPreparation, maintaining and recording traceability of raw materials usedRemoval of parts using small hand tools, fixtures and compressed airManufacturing and Inspects product with the use of a microscopeAble to operate various equipment to include but not limited test stations, oven, coating, heat sealing, dipping and pressesResolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex issues to area LeadsServe as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issuesChemical handling per established EHS requirementsResolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex issues to Production Leads or Supervisor.Coloplast employees are required to conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies.Other duties as assignedRequired knowledge, skills and abilities:Effective verbal and written communication skills within the production teamOperator is willing to assists with training and cross-functionally trained across teamsEngages in frequent dialogue with peers to demonstrate partnership attitude and follows through on commitmentsLooks for process errors and brings them forward to supervisorOperator is able to train thoroughlyParticipates in process improvement activities to help with quality and efficiencies.Keeps a positive can do attitudeAbility to lift up to 25 lbs independently and up to 75 lbs with assistanceBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent3+ years of Medical device manufacturing experience is preferredBasic assembly skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, ability to work independently, decision making skills, and ability to analyze problems and develop solutionsKnowledge of basic computer systemMust work well in a team atmosphereMust have basic math skillsBasic knowledge of GMP and GDPAttention to detail and ability to follow complex instructionsGood manual dexterityGood decision-making skillsAt Coloplast, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the contributions of our employees. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation for applicable experience and may also be eligible for bonuses and/or incentives.
