Job DescriptionCommercial Construction EstimatorA well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This individual will play a key role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project drawings and specifications, and working closely with project teams to support successful project delivery.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience estimating commercial construction projects across a variety of sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projectsReview plans, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and cost requirementsSolicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bidsPerform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipmentWork closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors during the bidding processAssist with budget development and value engineering opportunitiesQualifications3-7+ years of estimating experience within commercial constructionStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building methodsExperience estimating projects such as commercial, retail, healthcare, industrial, or institutional buildsProficiency with estimating software and Microsoft ExcelBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredWhat This Opportunity OffersCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to work with a reputable commercial contractorLong-term career growth opportunitiesAPPLY TODAY: megan.cantone@gogpac.com
