Patient observation is essential to your job, including regularly taking vitals, ensuring proper breathing, and administering oxygen or pain medication when necessary. You may also care for patients in the pre-op setting managing their needs and preparing them for surgery. In this role, you must quickly respond to any change in a patient's condition, beginning CPR if necessary.
