Senior Director of AccountingFoundryCo, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager/Director to lead our North America controllership function. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the financial cycle across the Americas, from close and consolidation through reporting, controls, and compliance.The ideal candidate is technically strong, operationally grounded, and a hands-on leader who can bring structure, drive discipline, and scale processes in a fast-moving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn all Americas controllership activities, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and cash managementLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including global consolidationPrepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting packagesPartner with FP&A to support variance analysis and performance insightsEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirementsDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsProvide guidance on technical accounting matters and complex transactionsLead external audits end-to-end, ensuring audit readiness and minimal disruptionMaintain high-quality documentation and continuously strengthen internal controlsDrive ERP and accounting system initiatives (e.g., D365), including process design and adoptionIdentify and implement opportunities to improve close timelines, automation, and scalabilityBuild, mentor, and develop the North America accounting teamFoster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementPartner cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations to drive alignment and executionSupport or lead ad hoc accounting and finance initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred (MBA a plus)8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and industryStrong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial reportingExperience managing multi-entity or global close processes, including multi-currency environmentsProven ability to drive process improvements and scale accounting operationsExperience with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives
