The Position:
In our multi-stationed kitchen, the Line Cook will operate one or more of the following stations: Grill, Flat Top, Fryer, Oven, and Sandwich Assembly
Role Responsibilities:
Present & perform with a positive attitude while treating both AK teammates and our guests with respect
Facilitate & complete orders, answer questions, and make cuisine recommendations when appropriate
Become proficient at your assigned station and have the ability to learn additional stations too
Work as a team under the KM to ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time
Know ticket times for all items and what items take the least & longest time to prepare
Know proper set-up, operation, and break-down of assigned station and all food production equipment
Make sure all work areas (prep, storage, cook) are kept clean, sanitized, and organized
Rotate, label, and date all stored foods to maintain the freshest high-quality ingredients
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Line Cook or related position
Demonstrate the courteous and helpful attitude that exemplifies our team’s service goal
Communicates pertinent information effectively
Possess strong organizational habits and a team-first mentality
Follow recipe & production specifications while quickly and efficiently producing high quality food under pressure
Complete assigned station training requirements under the direction of immediate supervisor(s)
Fluency in the English language including reading, writing, speaking; basic math skills required
Ability to frequently lift and transport up to 40 pounds (non-slip shoes required)
This positions schedule would be approximately 8:30am-3pm Monday thru Friday. Pay varies on experience and includes tips.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
