Here Is What You Will Do
The ideal candidate is responsible for coordinating repairs and renovation projects in various trades. In addition to supporting the department, assignments will generally fall into one of the following groupings, although overlapping of duties might occur as needed:
May supervise 10 -15 employees.
Estimates jobs for various trades.
Follows up on all prepared documents and provides written and oral reports.
Coordinates activities of various trades.
Ensures that materials are available to complete assignments.
Handles customer relations between various trades, sections, and clients.
Trains or facilitates training.
Completes project estimates, reviews staff labor paperwork, and performance evaluations.
Interacts with a large number of employees and customers, as well as outside contractors.
Minimum Hiring Standards:
High school diploma or GED and four years of construction experience, including one year of supervisory experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
