Regional CDL Driver

WIT Transport, LLC is a rapidly growing salt distribution company that has an immediate need for a Driver. The ideal fit for this position is a team player who believes in providing excellent customer service that wants the opportunity to work with different types of equipment, including flatbeds, pneumatic tank trailers, and dump trailers. WIT Transport drivers earn on avg. $68,000 annually with top earners making $80,000+. This is a regional driving position with overnights 2-3 times per week. This position provides home time on the weekends. Responsibilities: Deliver palletized loads and misc material loads via flatbed daily. Prepare and review delivery routes to confirm necessary equipment is loaded on delivery truck, accuracy of orders entered, confirm customer’s schedule requirements will be met Load trucks with inventory matching the delivery order summary report, necessary equipment and deliver to a pre-determined route using company provided GPS system and best judgment to ensure on-time customer deliveries Utilize tablet to confirm loads have been picked up and delivered Unload product from truck to meet customer needs and/or specifications Check-in and unload undelivered products back into the warehouse Reconcile the day’s delivery route to ensure all items are in order and any delivery questions or issues are discussed and resolved Other duties and requested and assigned Qualifications: Active Class A CDL license with a clean driving record 2-3 years of experience driving flatbed. Flatbed or piggyback forklift experience is a plus but not required Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and take necessary steps to stay safe Able to develop and maintain customer relationships Job details and benefits: This is a full-time year round driving position, Monday-Friday with daytime hours and overtime.
