Regional Sales Manager

Company: SchuF USA is the North American Sales office for the SchuF Group based in Eppstein, Germany. SchuF designs and manufactures industrial valves that control, isolate, divert, or sample gases, liquids, slurries or powders. Our range of industrial valves are ideal for difficult or severe service conditions found in the chemical, petrochemical, polymer, pharmaceutical, oil, gas, refining, power, offshore industries and mining.Requirements: B.S. Degree (preferably Engineering or Technical Discipline) or equivalent work experience. Prior plant experience in technical role and outside sales experience preferred. Minimum 3 – 4 years outside sales experience a must. Regional Sales Management experience in multi-state territory managing a Manufacturer’s Representative network preferred. Excellent presentation and communication skills required. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office business software. Knowledge of IFS software is a plus. Required to be local to the Charleston, SC area and commute to our office in Mount Pleasant, SC.Job Description: Managing assigned territory and the Manufacturer’s Representative companies in assigned territories including selection, termination and training. Must conduct territory market research, analysis, project tracking and determine target accounts. A minimum of 50% travel in assigned territory to include customer visits at plant level, corporate offices and engineering companies providing technical presentations on product applications.Duties:·       The employee will schedule calls and travel at least 50% of the time into assigned territory and complete trip reports following each week’s travel·       The employee will perform sales presentations and technical seminars in person and via on-line conferences·       The employee will maintain and develop sales strategy for SchuF products in existing and developing industries·       The employee will continue to learn the basics of process, chemical and mechanical engineering·       The employee will gain knowledge in assembling and maintaining SchuF’s valve offering.·       The employee will maintain leads, inquiries, quotes, contacts etc. in IFS·       Other duties may be assignedApplications/Resumes are to be submitted via email to careersschufusa2026@schuf.com
