Business Development Manager

Job Overview: As a Business Development Manager at First Responder Protective Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will help develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company’s goals and values. Responsibilities: Utilize Salesforce or similar software to manage leads, track sales activities, and analyze data to optimize business development efforts. Drive sales initiatives through effective negotiation, sales techniques, and relationship building. Seek out and attend industry-related conferences where sales opportunities are prominent. Respond promptly to new and existing client requests. Gain thorough knowledge of all products and services offered. Lead business development projects from inception to completion, including market research, strategic planning, and execution. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project management and delivery of services to clients. Cultivate strong customer relationships through exceptional customer service and account management practices. Qualifications: Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or a related field. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software. Proficiency in Google Workspace, or the ability to effectively learn on the job. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively. Demonstrated expertise in Project Management and Strategic Planning. Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices. Compensation: Salary of $65,000 per year, paid bi-monthly. Eligible for commission pay starting each quarter if sales goals are met. The initial sales goal for the first year is $160,000 per quarter. Commission is paid at 10% of net profit once the sales goal is reached for each quarter. A company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone will be provided for client visits and contract negotiations. Work Location: This role will be a mix of office-based and fieldwork, actively seeking new clients and business growth opportunities.
