A growing healthcare organization is looking for someone who can bring order to the chaos behind medical billing.Because every denied claim delays care.Every missed follow-up impacts cash flow.And every billing mistake creates frustration for both patients and providers.That’s why we’re hiring a Medical Billing & AR Specialist.We need someone who is organized, proactive, and confident handling insurance follow-ups, reconciliations, patient communication, and accounts receivable management, while helping the team keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.If you know how to navigate U.S. insurance billing, stay on top of aging claims, and communicate clearly with both patients and payers, this could be a great fit.What You’ll DoPost insurance payments and apply ERAs/EOBs in WeInfuseFollow up on denied, rejected, and aged insurance claimsPrepare appeals and letters of medical necessity using templatesReconcile EFTs, deposits, patient payments, and bank transactionsMaintain denial logs and review AR aging reports weeklyContact patients regarding balances and payment plansManage bookkeeping tasks and reconciliations in QuickBooks OnlineAssist with reporting, monthly close tasks, and cash flow trackingSupport vendor payments and financial documentationCommunicate with Spanish-speaking patients for scheduling, follow-ups, and translation supportDocument payer interactions and support workflow improvementsWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of medical billing and accounts receivable experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. insurance billing, denials, and appealsExperience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting platformsStrong reconciliation and bookkeeping skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsFluent in English and SpanishExperience creating SOPs or improving processes is a plusFamiliarity with financial reporting and cash flow tracking is preferredExperience with medical necessity letters and appeals is a plusWhy This Role MattersHealthcare organizations can only serve patients well when operations run smoothly behind the scenes.Your work will help improve cash flow, reduce billing delays, support patients, and keep the financial side of care moving forward accurately and efficiently.If you’re detail-oriented, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we’d love to hear from you.
