Accounts Payable Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator compiles and maintains all vendor account payable and credit card accounts as well as other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews all invoices for approval and back-up prior to payment
Administrator for corporate credit cards programs including monthly reconciliation and posting
Scans and inputs all invoices into Accounting system
Prepares urgent check requests ensuring proper approvals prior to payment
Processes weekly AP run including printing and distributing checks
Assists in monthly closing process
Investigating and resolving AP issues
Answering and directing incoming phone lines
Minimum Qualifications:
General office environment including operation of standard office equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
Two to four years prior experience preferred.
Construction experience preferred.
Soft Skills:
Communicate in person, by phone with all site personnel
Must be able to work with a team, and independently as required
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with minimal overtime requirements.
Required Education and Experience:
H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
2-4 years work experience (Construction experience preferred).
