A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ICU Adult Job Details: • Assess patient condition and plan and implement patient care plans • Treat wounds and provide advanced life support • Assist physicians in performing procedures • Observe and record patient vital signs • Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors and other medical equipment • Adjust ventilators and IABP equipment as needed • Administer intravenous fluids and medications • Perform suctioning procedures • Collaborate with critical care team members • Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols • Act as patient advocate • Provide education and support to patient families • Care for pre- and post-operative patients • Must have ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association • Must have valid CA RN license • Minimum years of clinical and travel experience required • May float to other units as needed • Must provide available interview times within 72 hours • Position created due to peak period needs Facility: This healthcare facility specializes in long-term acute care services, focusing on treating patients with complex medical conditions who require extended hospital stays.
