You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.In this role, you will report directly to our Lead Project Engineer and work from our Houston, TX location on a hybrid basis. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule and Milestone executionCultivate customer relationshipsUnderstand and implement Honeywell process control solutionsExecute to Honeywell standards and quality systemsDesign technical specificationsCollaborate with peers, lead engineers and managersTravel up to 25%, to customer sites for design, testing, commissioning, and customer trainingBuild cross discipline experienceShare technical knowledge with global engineering communityReport project progress and technical problemsQualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science3+ years of experience with industrial distributed process control systemsWE VALUE5 years industrial process control experienceExperience with E&I and site installationsHoneywell control systems experience, including Experion PKS®, TPS, TDC 3000Knowledge of platforms and virtualization, especially Windows server/clients and VMWareKnowledge of networking software and/or Cisco networksKnowledge of programming languagesKnowledge of Third-party control systems including ControlLogixOffshore work experienceIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by eventsAbility to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audienceUS PERSON REQUIREMENTDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.About HoneywellHoneywell International Inc.
