It is an evolving concept space that enables Heath to interact with the Mission District community on dynamic levels. The Heath Newsstand is a separate yet intrinsically connected part of the Heath showroom experience in San Francisco.Expanding on some of the magazines and books we already carry in our showrooms, it features publication on food and design, a variety of magazines and newspapers, international publications and like any good newsstand, it offers refreshments and snacks. The Newsstand has something for everyone, including our local neighbors and visitors.Who You Are1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably for a design-led brandAbility to meet and exceed sales goalsPassion for design and other creative pursuitsEngaging communication style with customers and designersAbility to identify customer needs and problem solve, to understand and explain product features and benefitsAbility to work weekends and holidaysKnowledge of POS systems and a high level of comfort with technology (including the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet)Ability to comfortably lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of timeWork Environment/Hours/ CompensationThis is a part-time position averaging 14–20 hours per week, with weekend availability required and additional weekdays a plus. This position is onsite at our San Francisco Factory & Showroom location.
