Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Position SummaryThe Industrial Maintenance Mechanic supports manufacturing operations by performing mechanical troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance on production equipment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and maintaining safe, efficient plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment and systemsPerform equipment rebuilds, repairs, and new equipment installationsExecute preventive and predictive maintenance activitiesUse a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work and retrieve maintenance dataSupport capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant expansion effortsMaintain high standards of housekeeping, organization, and safetyProvide coverage across shifts and weekends as needed; may support leadership functions when requiredQualificationsStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment (critical requirement)Experience in multiple mechanical disciplines such as welding, machining, fabrication, pipefitting, rigging, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor/pump alignmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment documentationComfort working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or rooftops as requiredDependable, safety-focused, and able to communicate effectivelySchedule & Work EnvironmentMust be available to work all shifts; training will occur on first shift with eventual assignment to second or third shiftOvertime is expected, with workload varying based on projects and urgent needsAt Delectus, we pursue excellence in all we do.
