VideoRemoteUSC or GCThe OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Power Apps Developer to join our client, the State of Minnesota. In this 18-month contract position, you will play a critical role in designing and developing custom Power Platform applications to streamline internal processes and enhance efficiency.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Power Apps (Canvas App and Power Pages) to meet specific client needs.Integrate Power Apps with Power Automate, SQL Server Database, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams.Develop workflows and automations using Power Automate to automate manual tasks and improve process efficiency.Analyze and implement business requirements to ensure applications align with user needs.Configure and maintain the Power Platform environment within client standards.Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful application implementation.Document solutions and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer.Stay up-to-date on the latest Power Platform features and functionalities through ongoing training and certification.Qualifications Three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Power Apps development.Microsoft Infopath development experience can substitute for one year.Three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Power Automate development.Microsoft Flow development experience can substitute for one year.One (1) year of experience in Microsoft Power Pages development.One (1) year of experience working with Microsoft Premium Connectors to integrate with external databases.Proven ability to design and develop complex model-driven and canvas apps using advanced techniques like component reusability, data integration, and custom controls.Experience with Power Apps component framework (PCF) for building reusable UI components and extending model-driven apps is a plus.Experience integrating Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages with other Microsoft products like SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, Teams, and various data sources, APIs, and external systems.Ability to design and develop complex Power Pages websites using advanced techniques like custom authentication, data integration, and content management.Previous experience with Power Pages features and capabilities, such as prebuilt templates, role-based access control, and content delivery network support (a plus).Experience mentoring other developers on Power Apps, Power Automate, or a new programming language/framework (a plus).Two (2) years of experience in JAVA, .NET, or C# development (preferred).Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
