Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated sales leader to join our Client Development and Account Management team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Mid-Market Sales, this role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction post-sale. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales management and client relationship building to lead and develop a team of remote client development representatives. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of client development professionals, setting clear individual and team goals focused on revenue retention, expansion growth, and client satisfaction. Develop and implement client management processes to enhance customer retention, satisfaction, and drive an improvement on our ability to identify and win expansion opportunities. Collaborate closely with marketing and support teams to execute client engagement strategies and campaigns that bolster client loyalty and advocacy. Analyze client data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, guiding strategic decisions to optimize client relationships and revenue outcomes. Serve as a product expert, working closely with the product team to stay informed on offerings and market trends, and effectively communicate product value to clients. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on client retention, expansion opportunities, and market dynamics. Oversee the coordination of client engagement activities, including participation in industry events and conferences as a representative of the company. Ensure the team maintains a robust client pipeline and meets annual revenue growth targets. Optimize the use of CRM and other sales technologies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in client management and development. Collaborate with the Business Development team to facilitate smooth handoffs of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and exceptional client onboarding experience. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in sales management with a strong track record of exceeding client retention and revenue growth targets. Experience in Payments, Incentives, Loyalty, or Financial Technology sectors is advantageous. Proven ability to negotiate and manage SaaS deals, with a focus on annual contract values (ACV) exceeding USD 10k/year and sales cycles of 1-6 months. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A college degree is preferred.
