The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, troubleshooting, and implementing software solutions across the full software development lifecycle. This role involves working within complex environments that leverage both on-premise and cloud-based technologies to develop scalable, secure, and efficient applications. The Applications Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions, automate deployment processes, and enhance existing systems to meet evolving operational requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a tangible impact through innovative software development and integration within a government-focused environment.QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent experience with 4-6 years of directly relevant work. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in applications development, with a strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices, code versioning, and maintenance. Operational experience with Python and Linux terminals is essential, along with familiarity with RESTful architecture, software automation, and data ETL workflows across various environments. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Redshift, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Git-CI, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across remote and physical teams are critical. Candidates must also hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain DHS suitability.ResponsibilitiesDesign, troubleshoot, and implement software code for comprehensive software development and service integrations.Develop, enhance, debug, and integrate software stacks for both on-premise and cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.Troubleshoot production issues related to software applications and pipeline workflows, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.Research, test, and coordinate the integration of new products based on user requirements and mission objectives, ensuring compatibility and performance.Evaluate and recommend application software packages, integration tools, and testing methodologies to optimize development processes.Automate deployment, testing, and build processes utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Git-CI to streamline operations.Contribute to documentation standards and development process improvements to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.Implement rigorous testing pipelines and quality control measures to ensure the reliability and security of developed software.Configure and tune COTS, GOTS, and open-source technologies to align with mission needs and project baselines.Work within Linux and container-heavy environments, including Openshift, RHEL, AlmaLinux, and Docker, to deploy and manage applications effectively.BenefitsARSIEM offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
