Manufacturing Engineer – AerospaceLocation: Brea, CASalary: $85,000 – $125,000 annuallyJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Aerospace & Defense ManufacturingONLY FOR USA CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDERWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for creating manufacturing documentation, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), improving production processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, repeatable, and high-quality manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, create, and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and manufacturing routers.Evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine manufacturing processes and material requirements.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and transition products into production.Work directly with production personnel to develop and improve manufacturing methods.Identify and implement process improvements utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.Support tooling, fixture, and manufacturing process development.Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and resolve production constraints.Document manufacturing processes and maintain accurate records.Coordinate with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers regarding manufacturing-related activities.Train employees on manufacturing procedures and process improvements.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.At least 6 months of Aerospace Manufacturing experience is required.Experience creating Manufacturing Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, manufacturing routers, or technical documentation.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and production support.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Preferred QualificationsLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.Tooling, fixture, and jig design experience.Silicone molding or elastomer manufacturing experience.Technical writing experience in a manufacturing environment.Bilingual Spanish is a plus.Mandatory SkillsManufacturing EngineeringAerospace ManufacturingTechnical Writing / Work Instructions (WI)Engineering Drawing InterpretationLean Manufacturing / Process Improvement
