It requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and techniques. The provider will be a member of a sex offender team. Responsibilities include interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders. The provider will complete screenings and assessments. Conduct group and sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment. Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision. Write reports and maintain necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies. Enter documentation in the electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts. Complete miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol. Complete transfer and discharge summaries. Consult with other staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs. Attend meetings for sex offender program supervision. Participate in in-service training and workshops for professional development.
