Job Posting DescriptionPosition Summary/Department Summary:Full time social work position (30 hours) to provide a wide range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and families in Hematology inpatient and small outpatient cohort in the transfusion centerKey Responsibilities:Providing crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, counseling, complex resource coordination, and psychosocial consultation to the medical team.Participating in program development with Hematology multidisciplinary team to create and enhance patient/family psychoeducation, developmentally appropriate interventions and continuity of care efforts.Provide behavioral interventions and strategies for enhancing copingCollaborative practice with relevant community partnersMinimum QualificationsEducation:Master's degree in social work, LCSW required, LICSW preferredExperience:Experience in health care environment essential with inpatient medical social work experience preferred.Knowledge of child protection system helpful.Spanish language skills strongly preferred.Cultural competency working with diverse populationFlexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.This position is eligible for full-time benefitsSchedule is Tues-Fri (8:30-5)
