Industrial Distribution Summer Internship - Century A/C Supply

Job Description Join the Century A/C Supply team for a paid 12-week summer internship. Our summer internship program will help shape your supply chain management future. You will gain hands on experience and do meaningful work in a rewarding, supportive environment. In this program you will be exposed to operations, inventory, communications, sales, and ERP Systems all in a warehouse setting. At the end of your internship, you'll present a company project to our leadership and managers. Responsibilities What you will learn: Warehouse OperationsForklift certificationShipping and receivingOrder pulling, product stockingInventory management, bin adjustments, cycle counts SalesExposure to Counter SalesOpportunity to do a ride along with outside sales ERP SystemGain knowledge of a premier distribution software program Qualifications Job Requirements:Must be able to work the full 12-week internship, 40 hours per weekMay be required to work on rotating SaturdaysMust provide own housing and transportation Physical DemandsMust be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance.Continuous walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, carryingWorking in an unconditioned warehouse Educational Requirements and/or Experience RequiredMust be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial DistributionNo prior warehouse experience necessary Century A/C Supply is committed to empowering employees to deliver exceptional services, recognizing that our people are at the core of our business philosophy.
