Customer Service Representative (Float)The Customer Service Representative (CSR) (Float) is responsible for retaining existing relationships and establishing new deposit accounts by branch goals. This position is responsible for safeguarding the bank assets assigned to them and contributing to the bank's growth by promoting and cross-selling bank products and services. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) (Float) involves floating or traveling to different branch locations.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Opening all consumer and business accounts and servicesComplying with all applicable regulations, policies and proceduresAssessing customer needs and cross selling appropriate products and servicesFunctioning as Teller, Sr. Teller or Teller SupervisorSupporting and contributing to the attainment of branch goalsResolving customer concerns and ensuring effective and long term problem resolutionDeveloping and building customer loyaltyAssisting with loan origination and processing as neededAnswering customer inquiries relating to products, rates and servicesProviding ancillary services such as notary servicesResponsible for tracking and monitoring of all required documentationMaintaining positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearanceAdhering to work schedulesMay be required to work an alternative location within the region or marketAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerCompleting required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assignedPerform any other related duties as required or assignedQualifications include:High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
