Position Summary The Corporate Accountant will support the Accounting Manager and Controller overseeing the corporate accounting and reporting for the company. This role is based in Boca Raton, FL and will focus on full-cycle monthly financial reporting for assigned corporate entities, including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to owners and lenders as well as assisting with annual audits and consolidation reporting. Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly corporate financial statements and supporting schedulesManaging bi-weekly payroll funding, recording and reconciling balancesAssist manager with data collection and supporting schedules for annual audits and tax preparationMonthly calculations for Developer fees, Construction management fees, Quality control feesHandle daily cash management for assigned corporate entitiesPerform general ledger accounting for assigned corporate entities, including allocations, prepaids, accruals, amortization, depreciation, receivables, and payables to ensure compliance with GAAP and company guidelines.Monitor equity contributions and distributions for class B partners including funding for all division projectsAssist with other projects as needed Desired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting2+ years industry, real estate experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skillsSolid understanding of US GAAP , month end close process and reportingAbility to work independentlyTeam-oriented with excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented and self-motivated; able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesAbility to work cross-functionally and establish relationships across the organizationAnalytical mindset with the ability to develop more efficient proceduresYardi experience is a plus Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
