Apply via Dice today!ES222 Senior Aerospace EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer with airborne field campaign expertise. The candidate should have a strong background in airborne science research and project management, as well as a comprehensive understanding of NASA and commercially obtainable flight assets and aircraft services.Required:M.S. or higher in Aerospace Engineering Sciences or a related field.10+ years of experience developing and operating airborne remote sensing instruments.5+ years of project management experienceExperience providing expertise in field operations, safety, and logistics for airborne field campaigns and scoping studies.Systems engineering experience for aircraft instruments (e.g., preparation, mounting, operation, dismounting).ship or Permanent Residency (LPR) required, with residency in the US for the past 3 years is required. Desired:Airborne project management support, including the preparation and completion of Field Campaign Investigation Confirmation Review and Investigation Implementation Plan.A comprehensive understanding of NASA ground and aircraft assets, consult on and support aircraft selection (commercial and/or Agency) and aircraft services procurement to aid in the selection and contracting of aircraft for field campaigns.Experience selecting airfields and coordinating relevant logistics for Arctic airborne operations.Team ADNET brings over 30+ years of experience to information systems and professional services for the federal government.
