Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Oracle PL/SQL DeveloperMajor banking client is hiring for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Charlotte, NC - 28255. The work arrangement is 3 days in office with 2 days work from home.The Oracle Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle database applications, PL/SQL programs, and reporting solutions. In addition to strong technical expertise, this role requires exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users, project managers, architects, QA teams, and production support teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including:PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggersTables, views, indexes, and materialized viewsPerformance tuning and query optimizationAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews.Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management.Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule.Document solutions thoroughly and maintain high quality technical documentation.Participate in client meetings and confidently present technical recommendations.Required Technical Skills:Oracle Database (12c/19c or later)Advanced PL/SQL developmentSQL performance tuningData modeling and database designVersion control tools (Git, Bitbucket)Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applicationsDevelop high-performance PL/SQL code optimized for Oracle Exadata environments.Leverage Oracle Exadata features such as Smart Scan, Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC), Storage Indexes, and Parallel Query to improve database performance.Compensation:Hourly Rate: $63-$65 per hour.
