Backend Engineer
Location: Fremont, CA or Charlotte, NC (2 days onsite)Duration: 18 Months on W2Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Backend Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join our engineering team for the Scout initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, large-scale backend systems and microservices.The ideal candidate is an expert product engineer who remains deeply technical and hands-on with code, while possessing the leadership capability to guide technical roadmaps, architecture, and cross-team execution.Core ResponsibilitiesHands-on Development: Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code to scale complex backend systems and third-party integrations.Architecture & Design: Define backend architecture, framework structures, and design scalable APIs and microservices.Technical Leadership: Lead technical roadmaps, drive architectural decisions, and ensure successful cross-team execution without losing touch with daily coding requirements.CI/CD & Infrastructure: Drive DevOps and infrastructure-as-code best practices to ensure seamless, automated deployments.Quality & Performance: Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of backend applications.Technical RequirementsRequired Tech Stack & ExpertisePrimary Language: GoLang (Expert level)API Technologies: gRPC, GraphQL, and RESTful APIsArchitecture: Microservices design patterns, large-scale distributed systems, and product engineering.Cloud Platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS)DevOps / Infrastructure: CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Soft Skills & Leadership:Ability to act as a technical anchor—balancing individual deliverables with guiding framework strategy and tooling direction.Strong trust factor; dedication to full-time focus on this engagement.Excellent communication skills for collaborating across multi-functional teams.What We Avoid (Disqualifiers)Purely infrastructure-focused automation profiles without heavy application/product engineering depth.Generical staffing profiles or non-hands-on engineering managers.Candidates seeking a 100% remote market engagement outside of the preferred hub locations.Thanks and Regards,Shubham T | Sr.US IT RecruiterTrigent ® Software Private Limited LtdPh: ( |A Trusted Partner - Enabling Future-Proof Solutions
