Assistant Engineering Manager
Job Summary: The Assistant Engineering Manager supports the Engineering Manager in overseeing offshore engineering projects and teams to ensure successful project completion. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing engineering activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing offshore engineering projects.Support the Engineering Manager in overseeing offshore projects engineering teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and integration.Monitor project progress and address potential issues to keep projects on track.Provide technical guidance and support to engineering staff.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.Participate in developing and implementing engineering strategies and objectives.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Assist in budget preparation and cost management for engineering projects.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).Proven experience in an engineering role, with a track record of successfully managing projects.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in engineering software and tools.Knowledge of offshore industry standards and best practices.
