Benefits Consultant
Job Description: Support the development and execution of benefits strategy for assigned clients, including plan design, benchmarking, and cost analysis.Collaborate with Producers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service and strategic consulting throughout the client lifecycle.Participate in carrier negotiations and renewals, partnering with carriers and internal teams to deliver competitive and comprehensive benefits solutions.Assist clients in understanding and complying with regulatory requirements (e.g., ACA, HIPAA, ERISA).Contribute to the creation of client presentations, rate analysis tools, and open enrollment materials.Participate in employee education meetings and webinars, helping to communicate benefits programs clearly and effectively.Stay informed on industry trends, new products, legislative developments, and emerging market practices.Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience in employee benefits, carrier account management, or HR benefits administration.Strong understanding of group health, life, disability, and ancillary insurance products.Exposure to fully insured and level-funded account types.Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and other relevant compliance frameworks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a high-level attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Health & Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 90 days).Benefits: MedicalDentalVisionLife Insurance and AD&DFSA / HSAAccidentCritical IllnessHospital IndemnitySupplemental Health InsuranceEAPPet Insurance11 Paid HolidaysFlexible PTO401K
