Grants and Contracts Officer
A company is looking for a Grants and Contracts Officer to facilitate the grant process and provide administrative support for research projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the grant process pre- and post-award, including researching, preparing, finalizing, and submitting grants
Develop budgets, manage submission processes, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining records and communicating with funders
Establish and maintain relationships with foundations and assist various Principal Investigators and their labs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalency) plus 4 years of related work experience, or a master's degree (or equivalency) plus 2 years
For higher job levels, 6 to 8 years of related work experience is required depending on the position
Experience in grant reconciliation and record maintenance
Familiarity with pre-award and post-award systems and processes
Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks with minimal supervision
