Details Combined PCU and Med-Surg unit in a hospital setting, with floating expected between both units Primary patient population is neurological, with overflow patients from other units Patient ratio is 1:3–5 depending on acuity EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) training required for monitoring and interviewing of epilepsy patients Epic EMR experience required Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Requirements Active KY or compact RN license in good standing, with no licensure hits Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required PCU or progressive care nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration Additional Information Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved American Traveler Job ID P-687981.
