Huge Locum MFM Opportunity in Madera, California. Physician MUST be Board-Certified, MUST have MFM Fellowship and MUST have completed all their schooling/fellowship in the USA. Client doesn't want to see high malpractice settlements or recent settled cases. Locations: Madera, CA and Modesto, CA Facility Type: Healthcare System Provider: MD/DO Specialty: MFM Credentialing: 60-90 days for clean files and 120 days for files with blemishes. They have to pay a fee for temp privileges and that will is the 60-90 time period. FYI - MFM locum will need to get credentialed at both Valley Children's and Doctors Medical Center. End: Ongoing coverage - No end date in sight Work Schedule: Monday through Friday and 8am-5pm but will need to do rounds starting at 7am. Locum will need to pick up call after hours but it is only phone call. Can do as much as they want but have to at least provide one day a week. NO WEEKENDS. Client will look at candidates who can do 1 or 2 weeks per month but prefer someone who can do 3 weeks or full time but they know that is a stretch. When a locum is confirmed, they will start at Valley Childrens Health for the first few weeks and then transition to Doctors Medical Center. This is a must and locations are a few hours apart but the long term coverage will be with Doctors Med in Modesto, CA. Patient Volume: 8 ppd on average Procedures: Bread and Butter MFM coverage, all standard procedures and will not be assisting with births. EMR: Cerner Certifications: Board Certified and all active certifications. Must have CA state medical license and client will wait for new DEA or transfer a current DEA.
