The Manager, Finance - NXT Innovation serves as a strategic financial partner to Belden's Corporate Development team, providing financial leadership throughout the M&A deal lifecycle, from target identification through post-acquisition integration. This role is responsible for leading deal valuation modeling, ROI assessment, synergy analysis, and post-close financial tracking to ensure investment decisions align with Belden's strategic priorities and deliver measurable long-term value. Reporting to the Finance Director - Solutions & NXT Innovation, this position requires deep M&A financial expertise and the ability to translate complex financial analysis into actionable insights for senior leadership. This role offers high visibility to senior leadership with direct impact on Belden's strategic growth initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLead financial modeling and valuation for M&A transactions, including DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, and synergy assessmentPrepare investment committee materials and white papers for senior leadership reviewPartner with Corporate Development on acquisition pipeline analysis, target evaluation, and deal structuringSupport investment planning and prioritization for NXT Innovation initiatives with data-driven insightsCollaborate with Integration Finance and Corporate Development teams on post-acquisition integration planning and synergy trackingOwn and continuously improve standard work processes for NXT finance activities, including integration tracking, business case optimization, and M&A financial toolsDrive process enhancements to increase deal evaluation efficiency, accuracy, and financial rigorMonitor and report on key performance indicators: M&A funnel metrics, ROI realized vs. business case, forecast accuracy, and synergy realizationRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field3-5 years of progressive finance experience with significant M&A exposure in corporate development, investment banking, or corporate M&ADemonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and deal structuringProven track record preparing investment materials and presenting to executive leadershipAdvanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) preferredStrong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial analysis into strategic business insightsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with a collaborative, cross-functional mindsetLet's Write the Next 100 Years Together.
