Position OverviewThe Neurology Clinic Front Desk Staff Member serves as the primary in-person contact for patients and caregivers in a neurology clinic. This role is responsible for creating a calm, welcoming, and well-organized experience for patients—many of whom may be managing complex or chronic neurological conditions.This role helps create a smooth clinic flow by managing patient check-in and check-out, assisting with rooming, handling payments, and supporting daily clinic operations.This is a fully on-site position in a neurology clinic. Remote or hybrid work is not available.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Flow & Front Desk SupportGreet patients and caregivers and manage patient check-inAssist patients with required paperworkFill in visit tickets and support visit documentation workflowsRoom patients as needed and communicate status to clinical staffManage patient check-out and next-step instructionsScheduling & SystemsSchedule follow-up visits and future appointmentsSupport clinic scheduling needs throughout the dayAdministrative SupportCollect co-pays and payments at time of visitComplete staff tasks, paperwork, and clinic administrative dutiesAssist with patient phone callsAssist with verifying insurance for patientsRequest, receive, fax, upload medical documentationWorking Environment & ScheduleOn-site neurology clinicPatient-facing roleFull-time schedule; hours based on clinic needs but typical hours are from 8:30 or 9:00am until 5:30pm or 6pmMajority of work days based in Duluth, GA.
