This is a role for a CFO who wants to shape outcomes, not just measure them.What You’ll OwnBuild the financial strategy that guides growth and investmentLead long‑range planning and capital allocationServe as the CEO’s closest strategic partner on growth, risk, and executionOwn job costing, WIP, backlog, revenue recognition, and margin performanceBring clarity and accountability to project financials across the portfolioStrengthen change order discipline, contract risk evaluation, and claims reviewBuild and lead a high‑performing Accounting and Finance organization with strong controls, accurate reporting, and clear accountabilityEnsure the company’s financial systems, processes, and close cycles operate with the speed and precision required in a large, multi‑project construction environmentCreate a financial reporting structure that gives leadership real‑time visibility into performance, risk, and margin driversSet the standards for job cost accuracy, payroll integrity, and financial compliance across the companyControl cash flow forecasting, working capital, and collections alignmentManage banking relationships, bonding, credit facilities, and insurance programsProtect the company’s financial position while enabling smart growthUpgrade ERP and job cost systems and reportingBuild automation, dashboards, KPIs, and scalable processes that support expansionWhat We’d LikeBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA required. CPA preferredDeep financial leadership experience in construction with a contractor or subcontractorA track record of leading Finance inside a large, complex, multi‑project organizationExpertise in job costing, WIP, GAAP, and construction accounting at scaleProven ability to build financial strategy, capital planning, and operational alignmentExperience leading high‑performing teams across Accounting, Finance, and project financialsStrong command of forecasting, modeling, ERP systems, and data‑driven decision makingA leadership approach that raises standards and drives accountability across the businessWhy This RoleThe company has reached a point where the financial side needs someone who has already managed complexity at scale.
