Technology Integration Manager

Position SummaryThe Technology Integration Manager owns and sustains the Operations, IT, and Maintenance and Repairs Triangle, with Technology Integration Management at the center. This role takes over after initial project implementation and is responsible for ensuring that systems, processes, and vendors operate effectively in a live terminal environment. The Technology Integration Manager drives continuous improvement, system adoption, operational alignment, and vendor performance, ensuring technology delivers measurable business value.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Triangle CoordinationAct as the central authority across Operations, IT, and Maintenance and RepairsEnsure alignment between operational execution and system capabilitiesDrive accountability for system usage and performance across all groupsMaintain structured, centralized decision-making for operational technologyContinuous Improvement and Process OptimizationIdentify gaps in system usage, workflows, and operational processesLead improvements to: Work queues and system-driven execution, Equipment positioning and auto-locate performance, Gate and yard efficiencyEnsure all improvements are tied to measurable KPIsSystem Adoption and Operational DisciplineEnforce consistent use of system-based workflowsReduce manual workarounds and exception-driven processesSupport training, reinforcement, and change managementMonitor adoption metrics and intervene where neededVendor Management and SLA OversightOwn relationships with technology vendors (RTLS, OCR, GOS, TOS, etc.)Define, track, and enforce SLAs across vendorsManage performance related to: System availability and reliability, Response and resolution times, Delivery of fixes and enhancementsEnsure coordination across vendors for integrated system performanceGovernance and Execution CadenceLead governance across three levels:Daily: Issue tracking and operational coordinationWeekly: Execution tracking and vendor alignmentMonthly: Strategic alignment and escalationMaintain visibility into risks, issues, and dependenciesDrive timely escalation and resolutionProgram and Initiative ManagementManage ongoing enhancements and post go-live initiativesMaintain: Improvement roadmap, Prioritized backlog, Controlled release executionEnsure delivery without disruption to live operationsPerformance Monitoring and ReportingTrack KPIs across operations, systems, and adoptionProvide structured reporting to leadership (Business & Performance Improvement Department)Qualifications & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in container terminal operations, operational technology (OT), technology integration, or a similar industrial environment. 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Kalmar equipment and technologies (required). Experience with Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), RTLS, OCR, Gate Operating Systems, or other port automation technologies. Demonstrated experience managing technology vendors, service providers, and SLAs. Strong understanding of container terminal operations, including gate, yard, and vessel workflows. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
