Job Title: Ambulatory RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute or outpatient settings required License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: General surgery experience is required. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is necessary. EMR experience must be verified. Description: The Ambulatory RN position involves working with outpatient and pediatric patients. Adult patients may be cared for on rare occasions. Candidates must have experience in the majority of the following specialties: ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, and Oncology. Training to endoscopy is available if needed. Strong skills and experience in fast-paced environments are essential. Call is required, with five weekdays and two weekend shifts scheduled every six weeks. Documentation will be conducted using a specified electronic charting system. Candidates should have experience in minor surgical cases, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and other procedures listed. The overall daily census will require managing fast-paced patient volumes. Collaboration and interdisciplinary support will be part of the role. Candidates must be prepared to float within the facility if required. Only candidates who meet the specified experience requirements will be considered.
