Senior Director, Corporate Accounting | High-Growth Fintech Platform | Hybrid 2-3 DaysNYC-based, high-growth fintech company focused on transforming the consumer payments experience through innovative financial technology solutions. The company operates at significant scale, partnering with large enterprise clients nationwide and continuing to experience rapid expansion.This role will oversee core corporate accounting operations and the AP function while helping drive process optimization, automation initiatives, ERP implementation efforts, and broader finance transformation projects. The position will partner closely with senior leadership and play a key role in scaling accounting infrastructure to support continued growth.Responsibilities include:Overseeing month-end close across core accounting areas including cash, accruals, fixed assets, leases, payroll, equity, debt, and capitalized softwareDriving accounting process improvements, automation, and close optimization initiativesSupporting ERP implementation and financial systems enhancement projectsStrengthening internal controls and supporting SOX readiness initiativesManaging and developing a high-performing accounting team in a fast-paced environmentPartnering cross-functionally with finance, treasury, and operational teamsIdeal background:CPA required10+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledgePrior Big 4 experience highly preferredExperience within fintech, financial services, or other regulated/high-growth environments preferredStrong technical accounting experience including ASC 842, ASC 450, ASC 470, ASC 718, and ASC 350-40Experience with ERP implementations, automation initiatives, and internal controls/SOX environments
