Assembler

*Responsibilities* * Assemble cabinets and doors in a timely fashion in the building of Enclose Product line. * Maintain and improve product quality. * Prepare items for shipments. * Utilization of some resources from other cells that may be required to perform the job’s functions. * Perform any additional duties requested by management. * Wear all proper protective equipment as required in the work area in accordance with Enclose Manufacturing Safety Policy and OSHA standards. *Skills* * Knowledge is required to read and understand blueprints * Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. * Must know how to read a tape measure. * Perform technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. * Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include operating tools, maintaining accurate records, and following safety procedures. *Working Environment* The usual methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and bending. The job requires some sitting and walking but mostly standing. The job is performed under some temperature variations and normal shop conditions.
