Business Analyst II
The Business Analyst II is responsible for leading business analysis efforts, supporting complex projects, and driving improvements in business systems and processes. This position goes beyond foundational support by taking ownership of initiatives, partnering closely with leadership, and ensuring business systems effectively support operational and strategic goals.This role serves as a key bridge between business operations and IT, providing advanced analysis, project coordination, and system support across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ExecutionLead or co-lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementationDefine project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersMonitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure successful executionFacilitate meetings, document requirements, and track action itemsBusiness Systems & Process OptimizationAnalyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automationDevelop and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and data accuracyLead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into system solutionsPartner with leadership to align systems and processes with business strategyIT & Systems SupportServe as a primary liaison between business units and 3rd party external ITSupport and troubleshoot business systems, including ERP and integrated applicationsLead testing efforts (UAT, system upgrades, enhancements) to ensure functionality and accuracyAssist in system implementations, integrations, and upgradesData Analysis & ReportingUtilize data to drive decision-making and provide actionable insightsDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance metricsWrite and utilize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from business systemsIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities across operations and financial performanceUser Training & AdoptionDevelop and deliver training programs for new systems and enhancementsSupport end users and ensure successful adoption of systems and processesCreate documentation, job aids, and standard operating proceduresCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with department leaders to understand operational challenges and opportunitiesCommunicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersAct as a trusted advisor on systems, data, and process improvementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required in one of the following: Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, project support, or systems-related rolesStrong understanding of business systems, data structures, and IT processesExperience supporting or leading system implementations and process improvementsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems requiredWorking knowledge of SQL or ability to write queries to extract and analyze dataStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead discussionsPreferred QualificationsExperience in agriculture, supply chain, retail, or multi-division operationsExperience with project management tools or methodologies Experience building dashboards or reportsWork Environment & ExpectationsOn-site role based in Mount Horeb, WIMust be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentMaintains high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detailCollaborates effectively across departments and leadership levels
