Intellectual Property Paralegal
An AmLaw 200 firm in Atlanta is seeking an experienced IP Paralegal to support its growing Intellectual Property practice. This role is ideal for someone with strong patent and/or trademark prosecution experience who thrives in a detail-driven, fast-paced legal environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, file, and manage U.S. and international patent and trademark prosecution mattersCoordinate filings with the USPTO and foreign associatesMaintain and update IP docketing systems; track deadlines and ensure timely filingsAssist attorneys with office action responses, applications, and related documentationConduct trademark clearance searches and assist with filings and renewalsPrepare IDS filings, declarations, assignments, and other prosecution documentsCommunicate with clients, attorneys, and foreign counsel regarding status updates and requirementsSupport portfolio management and reportingQualifications:5+ years of IP paralegal experience, with a focus on patent and/or trademark prosecutionStrong knowledge of USPTO rules, procedures, and filing systems (PAIR, Patent Center, TEAS)Experience with both domestic and international prosecution is a plusExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail (this is not the place for “close enough”)Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with IP docketing software preferredConnect With UsConnect Staffing is your link to successful recruiting – connecting the best people with the right jobs.
