Female Massage Therapist - OC

Overview To be well versed and an expert in the field of Massage Therapy as described by the Laws of the State of Nevada. To deliver exceptional guest service to all guests of the Golden Nugget Spa and Salon and maintain a clean and healthful environment for delivering services according to the Policies, Procedures, and Protocols listed on our Menu of Services. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity). Responsibilities Know, understand, and adhere to the policies, procedures, and SOP's of the Spa Operations Department and the Golden Nugget Corporation. Provide and maintain exceptional guest service standards to all guests of the Spa including courtesy, sincerity and enthusiasm. Be knowledgeable of all products used in Service Protocols and Sold in Retail to be able to make recommendations to clients. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Maintain current licenses and continuing education requirements essential to job performance and Nevada State Licensing Maintain a clean and safe work environment for guests and employees. Clean, stock and maintain massage rooms with all supplies necessary to perform services listed on our Menu of Services. Properly perform massages in a professional and timely manner. Perform massages as requested in alternate areas (i.e. guest rooms, poolside, etc.). Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate. Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required; Spa Soft experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a Resort Spa environment. Current Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy License. Minimum age requirement is 21. High School Diploma or GED. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities. Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
