Title: Veeva PromoMats & PMR Operations SpecialistPay Rate: $45-52/hour Location: Rahway, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: Contract until December 2026 (Possibility of extension) Position OverviewThis contractor role supports Promotional Material Review (PMR) operations and the Veeva Vault PromoMats platform, enabling the end-to-end promotional review process within our client's Animal Health business. The position partners closely with the Director of Content Excellence to ensure the promotional review ecosystem remains compliant, scalable, and continuously improving. This role focuses on translating business and compliance requirements into effective system capabilities and optimized workflows. The contractor collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, Technical Services, IT, and external agencies to drive adoption of platform enhancements, streamline review processes, and improve cycle times and quality outcomes. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with strategic influence across the promotional review landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesVeeva Vault PromoMats Platform Support• Support day-to-day platform performance, configuration inputs, and enhancementprioritization.• Translate business needs into system requirements and recommendations.• Partner with IT on releases, upgrades, and new capabilities; assess impact and drivereadiness.• Monitor industry trends and platform roadmap to improve compliance, efficiency, andscalability.Promotional Material Review (PMR) Operations• Enable efficient, compliant review workflows by optimizing submissions, routing, andapprovals.• Support policy improvements and consistent application of review standards.• Troubleshoot workflow issues and drive continuous improvement.• Maintain audit-ready practices across the content lifecycle.Stakeholder & Agency Enablement• Serve as a subject matter expert on PromoMats, guiding internal teams and agencies.• Support training, documentation, and communication on system/process updates.• Partner on change management initiatives and governance updates.• Improve submission quality, metadata, and content reuse strategies.Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement• Develop dashboards to track performance, cycle times, and bottlenecks.• Use data insights to improve speed-to-market while maintaining compliance.• Support PMR governance forums and identify enhancement opportunities.Required Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.• Extensive hands-on experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats in pharma or biotech.• Strong knowledge of PMR/MLR/PRC processes in regulated environments.• Experience translating business needs into system solutions.• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred Experience• Experience supporting global or regional review models.• Familiarity with content lifecycle management, DAM, modular content, or reusestrategies.• Experience with system upgrades, releases, or transformation initiatives.
